Carly Ambler

Education Program Specialist at Georgia Department of Education

A 15 year educator, Carly is a graduate of Agnes Scott College, earning a bachelor degree in English and a Master’s degree in Teaching English at a Secondary Level. She completed her specialist in Educational Leadership with Berry and has been working on and off with grants for 19 years.

While Carly’s first love is teaching high school English, most of her career as an educator has been focused on school improvement and professional learning. She has presented her work with schools across the state and at national conferences. She has spent the last 6 years at GaDOE working with the Title II, Part A grant. Carly lives in Decatur, GA with her husband, Joe, daughters, May and Ava and several pets. She loves reading, watching movies, traveling and cheering on her girls at soccer games.
